Seventh-grade students Cooper Cates and Ashlyn Woods, and eighth-grade student Nick Powell have been chosen to represent Darlington at the Georgia Music Educators Association (GMEA) District 7 Middle School Honor Jazz Band this weekend.
A group of 17 Darlington students will perform at a special concert on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 4 p.m. at King's Ridge Christian School in Alpharetta, Ga. The band, orchestra and chorus ensembles that take the stage will be comprised of the top music students from every Georgia Independent School Association (GISA) member school.
Darlington eighth-grade student Chris Mauer has been chosen to represent the school at the Georgia Music Educators Association (GMEA) District 7 Middle School Honor Jazz Band this weekend.
