The Darlington School Class of 2026 marked a milestone as graduates, families and faculty gathered for the school’s 121st commencement ceremony that was filled with reflection, celebration and anticipation for the future.

Selig next champion Tiger with sights on next level

Cam Selig became the Great White North’s gift to Darlington basketball about two years ago, and with him the Tigers and head coach Nathan West were able to soar all the way to the top in 2026 as GHSA Private A-AAA boys champions. Selig is still thinking about championships, this time at the NCAA Division II level, as Thursday he signed his national letter-of-intent to play at Auburn University-Montgomery.

Physics Boat Race

Teams of 3-4 physics students put their physics knowledge to the test by building cardboard boats using only two 4 ft x 8 ft sheets of cardboard (donated by Dalton Box - A TRG Company) and 60 yards of duct tape. Two members from each team then paddled their boat across Silver Lake at Darlington. Of the 25 teams that competed, 12 successfully made it across the lake.
