The Darlington Digital Players Repertory Company is pleased to present "A Christmas Carol: Scrooge," a radio drama written by Charles Dickens and adapted for the stage by Larry Quiggins. This timeless classic follows the tale of Ebenezer Scrooge on a fantastic journey through time and space, forced to confront his past, present, and future through the aid of his spiritual guides.
"The Digital Players are giving this timeless story as a gift to the Darlington Community," said Shelley Daniel, theater director. "Our actors rehearsed together throughout the fall and then recorded their dialogue alone with me in the theatre using strict COVID-19 protocols. Following the recording process, the show was built from the ground up. This production is best experienced in one uninterrupted sitting using the best possible sound system in order to enjoy the full depth of the dialogue, music, and foley experience."
