6 Steps Toward the Spotlight: How to Join the Cast & Crew of “A Doll’s House”

Darlington's Fine Arts Department is proud to present this year's Fall Play, "A Doll's House," at the Black Box Theater Oct. 15-17, 2015! 

"
A Doll’s House" is a period drama written by Henrik Ibsen in 1879, and has become one of the world's most performed plays.


Thinking about participating? Have you caught the acting bug? Looking to explore your interests? Want to help behind the scenes?
 

Here are six steps toward the spotlight!

1) APPLY ONLINE TODAY (Actors AND crew) or no later than Monday, Aug. 17 at 3 p.m. Click here to fill out the required application.

2) Actors: Memorize your monologue....perform it as often as possible for family, friends...even the cat! Attend two days of auditions Aug. 18-19. 

3) Crew/Staff: Set up a crew/staff interview slot for Monday afternoon. 

4) Ask questions! Connect with Theatre Director Ms. Daniel at sdaniel@darlingtonschool.org.  

5) Tell your friends! Encourage them to audition or interview!

6) Take a deep breath, believe in yourself, and prepare for your future TONY AWARD!
