Rachel had 4 goals in the first half as the Tigers jumped out to a 6-1 lead at the half. E.B. Connelly and Emily Brock also added goals in the first half.

Monday, April 14, 5:30 PM Girls Varsity Soccer vs Pace Location Pace Academy 966 West Paces Ferry Road Atlanta, GA 30327 map & directions http://www.paceacademy.org Results L: 2-4 Game Summary The Tigers played extremely well against the #1 ranked team in A/AA. Pace scored early in the game, but Rachel Wiggins tied it up at 1-1 with a great goal. After dribbling by 3 defenders, she knocked a shot into the bottom left corner. The Tiger defense kept Pace out of the net for the first 20 minutes of the 2nd half, then gave up 3 goals in a span of 10 minutes and trailed 4-1. Bethany Blevins broke free late in the game and got taken down for a Penalty Kick with 2 minutes left. Wiggins drilled the PK to end the game at 4-2. The Tigers turned in their best defensive effort of the year, continually keeping a strong Pace offense out of the net. Kristin Kountz was incredible all game, while Lauren Wetherington, Mimi Sumner, Ellen Collier and Ann Elyse Winn put in huge efforts all game and played extremely well. Baldwin Harris also had an excellent game both offensively and defensively in the midfield.
