Kevin Ivester '87

Math Teacher

Kevin (’87) has taught math at Darlington since 1995 and currently teaches middle grades. He holds a B.S. from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he played four years of soccer. Kevin has coached middle school basketball for more than two decades and also coaches middle school golf. Previously, he coached boys and girls soccer for 14 years. Kevin and his wife, Jackie, are the parents of Lily (’25) and Adrian (’27).

Cordell ('20) shines as middle school golf standout

The middle school golf team recently claimed a third consecutive win of the spring, remaining undefeated after taking first over Cedartown and Rockmart. In his latest match, eighth-grade student Lindsey Cordell finished on top with a 35, shooting 7-under-par for his last three rounds.

Boys' Middle School basketball team finishes season 12-4

February 10, 2014
The Middle School boys' basketball team finished their season 12-4 with a runner-up finish in the season-ending tournament. The Tigers beat Cedartown in the first round of the tournament and Coosa in the semifinals before falling to Rockmart in the championship game.
