Becca Wood

Assistant Director of Alumni Relations

Becca was named assistant director of alumni relations in 2016 after spending the previous year as advancement administrative assistant. She holds a B.S. in Sports Management from Kennesaw State University. Prior to her work at Darlington, Becca was program coordinator for Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation Authority, where she directed a race series among other initiatives. Additionally, she was responsible for securing sponsorships and developing relationships in the community. Becca and her husband, Tyler, are the parents of Emi Grace ('25) and Ty ('27).

Darlington to host R.A.C.E. Rome Sprint and Youth Triathlon

September 3, 2015
The R.A.C.E. Rome Sprint and Youth Triathlon will again descend on Darlington School’s 500-acre campus on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015. All proceeds from the event benefit Summit Quest, a Rome-based non-profit organization that works directly with families affected by cancer to provide support through special programming. The race officially opens with the sprint at 8 a.m. and a youth race to follow at 12:30 p.m.

Wood joins advancement team

June 4, 2015
Becca Wood joined the Darlington Community as administrative assistant to the Advancement Office on March 23. The Watkinsville, Ga., native came to the school from her previous role as the program coordinator for the Rome-Floyd Parks & Recreation Authority.
