Beth Smith '87

Pre-K Teacher, Pre-K to 8

Beth ('87) has taught at the Lower School since 1994. She holds a B.S. and an M.Ed. from Auburn University and has 26 years of experience in the classroom - 24 of which have been with Darlington's early childhood and primary education program. During her tenure, she has been recognized with the Beachum Master Teaching Award and Brown Faculty Award. She and her husband, Scott, are the parents of current students, Bailey ('15), Avery ('17) and Anne Scott ('20).

Darlington to host R.A.C.E. Rome Sprint and Youth Triathlon

September 3, 2015
The R.A.C.E. Rome Sprint and Youth Triathlon will again descend on Darlington School’s 500-acre campus on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015. All proceeds from the event benefit Summit Quest, a Rome-based non-profit organization that works directly with families affected by cancer to provide support through special programming. The race officially opens with the sprint at 8 a.m. and a youth race to follow at 12:30 p.m.
