Cates ('17) to participate in Naval Academy summer program

Anna Katherine Cates ('17) will be traveling to the United States Naval Academy this week to take part in the college's annual Summer STEM Program. The rising Darlington junior will spend a week participating in a project-based curriculum learning alongside students from around the country.
Darlington's Ha Dang ('15) was recognized last week as the first runner-up of the Georgia STAR Student Competition in Atlanta. Darlington chemistry instructor and her chosen STAR teacher Julia Dodd accompanied Dang to a full day of interviews at the Crowne Plaza Ravinia, where winners were later announced on the evening of April 27.
