Day two of the Orlando Classic in Orlando, Fla., brought a tough challenge for the U16 squad as they faced the #18-ranked team in Florida. Despite a strong and determined effort, the boys came up short, falling 0-2 against a very competitive opponent.
While the result didn’t go their way, the performance reflected the same grit, discipline and teamwork the group showed all weekend. The U16s battled from start to finish, never backing down and continuing to represent the Academy with pride.
The team closed out the tournament with a 1-1-1 record (win, tie, loss)—a solid showing against high-level competition. More importantly, the weekend highlighted the significant progress this group has made over the course of the season.
They finish the season on a very positive note, with a strong overall performance, growing confidence, and plenty to build on moving forward. The future is bright for this group.
