The Upper School Band has so much to celebrate at the conclusion of their 2024-2025 season. These Tiger Musicians work very hard and have performed concert after concert of great repertoire. Truly they have rehearsed with purpose and momentum. It is finally time to say, "Well done," rest, and reflect back on the great achievements of the year.
This group has won superior ratings at adjudications; won trophies in Orlando; performed concerts of jazz, concert band, even classical pieces; played solos; played in small groups, sections, and full band; inspired the stadium at home football games even before the start of school; played for outdoor campus events; debuted at the DeSoto Theatre; tutored Pre-K to 8 band members; won individual awards; played at formal events and played just for fun; and much more. This is a special team that took advantage of every opportunity they had this year. With no seniors in the group, every member showed good leadership. They have made this year one of the best for Darlington's Upper School Band, and we look forward to an even more amazing season when August begins.
