As we approach the final weeks of the school year, I want to encourage every student to be intentional about how they finish. A strong finish does not happen by accident. It requires preparation, discipline, and focus now. The habits students build in these final days matter, not just for grades, but for the kind of character and commitment they carry forward.

This is a meaningful time in the life of our school. We celebrate accomplishments, honor growth, and recognize the dedication it has taken to get here. At the same time, we ask students to stay fully engaged academically and as members of our community through the very last day.

Below are several important dates and events as we close out the year:

Senior Exams (Dodd Banquet Room)
May 11–13
Morning Exams: 8:15 a.m.
Afternoon Exams: 1:30 p.m.
May 11: History / English
May 12: Science / World Languages
May 13: Math/Technology / Fine Arts

Friday, May 15
Late Start Day (Day 3)
Honors Day Ceremony – 3:30 p.m., Morris Chapel
Seniors and their families are invited to an informal dinner in the Dodd Dining Hall between Honors Day and Baccalaureate. Look for an email to RSVP next week.
Baccalaureate Service – 7 p.m.

Saturday, May 16
Commencement – 9:30 a.m.

Underclassman Exam Schedule
Monday, May 18: English at 8 a.m.; Math at 1 p.m.
Tuesday, May 19: History at 8 a.m.
Wednesday, May 20: Science at 8 a.m.
Thursday, May 21: World Language at 8 a.m.

Exam Review Session Schedule
Sunday, May 17: English at 1-3 p.m.; Math at 3-5 p.m.
Monday, May 18: History at 3-5 p.m.
Tuesday, May 19: Science at 1-3 p.m.
Wednesday, May 20: World Language at 1 p.m.

In the days ahead, I encourage families to support students with consistent study time, adequate rest, and thoughtful preparation for final exams. We will be doing the same at school.
