Darlington's varsity baseball team will play Adairsville in the inaugural Three Rivers Classic, hosted by the Rome Emporers in partnership with Rome High School, on Feb. 21 at 11:30 a.m. at AdventHealth Stadium.
The full-day high school baseball showcase will feature five marquee matchups between some of Northwest Georgia’s top programs. The GHSA-sanctioned event gives players, coaches, and fans the opportunity to experience high school baseball in a professional ballpark setting.
The action begins early, with Armuchee facing Trion at 8:30 a.m., followed by Darlington vs. Adairsville at 11:30 a.m., Rome vs. Coosa at 2:30 p.m., Pepperell vs. Bowdon at 5:30 p.m., and closing out with Model vs. Calhoun at 8:30 p.m. Each matchup celebrates community spirit and showcases the impressive baseball talent found across Northwest Georgia.
Tickets for the event are on sale at gofevo.com and at the AdventHealth Stadium box office. General admission pricing is $7 per game for the general public and $5 for students. All-day passes with unlimited re-entry are available for $25 to the general public and $20 for students. Luxury suite rentals are also available for $500 per game and include 20 tickets, a private indoor suite, outdoor balcony seating, and optional in-suite catering.
The event will feature classic ballpark concessions as well as Rome Emperors and event-specific merchandise. Both indoor and outdoor seating areas will be available, and re-entry will not be permitted unless an all-day pass is purchased.
