February is an exciting and busy month, and I am grateful for the energy and the commitment from our students and faculty across campus. From the classrooms, to the courts, to the stage, our students are fully engaged and representing Darlington School well.
Even in this busy time, we are proud of the strong academic focus we are seeing as the semester continues. With the winter musical approaching, winter sports in full swing, and spring sports starting up, students are taking advantage of opportunities for growth. Please remind students to communicate with their teachers and advisor if they need extra support. Early conversations make a big difference! We will continue to do the same.
During this time of high demands in and out of the classroom, maintaining balance is important. We encourage students to prioritize rest, routine and time management. Advisors are checking in regularly and our counseling team remains available to support students socially and emotionally.
I know it may sound too early, but February also marks the start of planning for next year. This includes the course selection process. More information will be shared next month, and we appreciate your partnership as we help students plan thoughtfully about their courses for next year.
