As we enter the final weeks of the school year, I want to thank everyone for their hard work, dedication and spirit that have defined our journey together. It’s hard to believe how quickly the year has gone by.
Darlington is challenging. Our students are learning to navigate challenges with resilience and determination. They should be proud of the work they have done this year! It is impossible to list every accomplishment for every student in a newsletter, but we will celebrate many of those achievements during Honors Day on May 16 at 3:30 p.m. in the Morris Chapel.
Soon, seniors will begin the countdown to Commencement. We are excited to celebrate all the accomplishments of the Class of 2025. As they finish strong, I hope they know their time here will be remembered by their hard work and leadership. The best is yet to come for each of them. Parents of the Class of 2025, thank you for allowing us to share in the journey. It is an honor to be involved in their success.
Underclassmen will begin to focus on finals. For some, it will be their first time taking a final exam. Teachers will aim to decrease this anxiety by giving out reviews, offering review sessions, and talking about what to expect on the final exam.
Our faculty and staff remain the heart of our success. Their support, guidance and dedication have played a vital role in making this school year a successful one for our students.
As we approach the final stretch, I want to take a moment to wish everyone a strong, positive finish. This time of year can be both busy and stressful, but I have every confidence in our school community’s resilience and ability to rise to the occasion.
May each student look back with pride on the achievements they made this year at Darlington.
