For my Senior Ventures project, I have been co-teaching two dance classes throughout the year. I have been helping with a 3-year-old class and a special-needs class.
Recentlly, my 3-year-old class had their recital. We did a warm up on stage, then their dance they have been working on all semester, and lastly they got to dance across the stage by themselves.
Mrs. Haynes, a teacher here at Darlington, has a daughter named Nora in my 3-year-old class. I have loved seeing her grow as a dancer throughout the semester and getting to see her shine on stage.
The special-needs class will continue this February and they will have a performance in May. I really enjoy teaching dance and can't wait for the rest of the year!
