Today, the second-graders took part in a summer fun STEM day. The children worked as individuals for some projects, while other activities required a partner. The class took part in challenges including: building a torch out of tin foil that would support a beach ball, building a tower of index cards that would support a beach ball, making a bubble maker out of one pipe cleaner, and constructing a boat that would float out of a plastic cup, a straw, foil and tape. It was a great morning, full of challenge and fun!
