In early May, I had the opportunity to visit with our students in the Early Learning Academy through eighth grade and talk with them about the school crest. We noted first that everyday they wear the crest as part of their uniform, and we talked about what the symbols represent.
Our crest includes a lion, which represents courage; two shaking hands, which represents friendship; an open book with a torch, which represents scholarship; and a knight’s helmet, which represents honor.
