Lindy Williams

Lindy Williams has been the director of enrollment management since 2017. She holds a B.A. in Journalism and Public Relations and an M.S. in Counseling and Student Personnel Services in Higher Education, both from The University of Memphis. Williams brings with her more than three decades of experience in independent schools and colleges, most recently serving as head of school at St. Margaret’s School (Va.) She has been involved with and presented at conferences and workshops through the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education and the National Association of Independent Schools. She has also led accreditation teams for the Virginia Association of Independent Schools and served on the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association Heads Advisory Committee, among other professional appointments. Her husband, Chris, is the director of operations for Coosa Junior Golf Academy at Darlington School.


Audrey Ashworth

Audrey has served as assistant director of boarding admission since 2016. She holds an A.S. in Business and a B.S. in Business and Public Policy from Young Harris College, where she spent four years working in the Admission Office. Audrey lives on campus and enjoys movies, concerts, visiting family and friends, and spending time with her dog, Penelope.


Tommy Atha

Tommy has taught P.E. at Darlington since 1993 and also serves as an assistant athletic director, head varsity football coach and Middle School girls’ basketball coach. He holds a B.S. from Presbyterian College and has also coached track and taught civics, world geography and American history. Tommy has led the Tigers football team to the state playoffs 17 times and coached them to three consecutive region championships from 2009-2011. He and his wife, Cathe, are the parents of Maggie Beth (‘14), Anna Claire (‘17), Tommy (‘19) and Katherine (‘25).


Jennifer Bagby

Jennifer Bagby has served as the assistant director of admission for PK-5 since 2016. She holds a B.S. in Sociology from Shorter College and has spent the last eight years as director of Garden Lakes Baptist Church Preschool.She and her husband, Tripp ('91), are the parents of Will ('22) and Chandler ('25).

Tara Inman

Tara joined Darlington's student life team in 2002 and was named dean of students for global education in 2016. Previously, she held the roles of director of ESL, spiritual life coordinator and head of house. Tara holds a B.A. and an M.A.T., both from Carson-Newman College. She and her husband Brian, an Upper School history teacher, live on campus with their children, Maggie ('19), Davis ('23), Wesley ('23) and Harrison ('26).

Strom Mull ('06, LD '12) has served as assistant director of boarding admission since 2018. She holds a B.S. in Family and Consumer Sciences from The University of Mississippi. Strom's previous roles have included managing the Man & Woman of the Year campaign for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in Atlanta and serving as marketing and development manager for the Cobb Chamber of Commerce.


Charles Steeves

Charles has served as assistant director of boarding admission since 2016 and also coaches JV tennis. He holds a B.A. in English Literature and a minor in Psychology from Colorado State University. Charles has over a decade of experience in sales, marketing and relationship management. Before coming to Darlington, he worked in bank management and business development banking in Atlanta. In addition to spending time with his wife, Molly (Kelly) Steeves ('98), and their daughter, Mary Alston ('34), Charles enjoys fly fishing, bird hunting, tennis, golf, growing exotic hot peppers and watching SEC football.


Mark Tunnell

Mark Tunnell has served as associate director of admission at Darlington since 2012 and took on the additional role of director of day admission in 2014. He currently serves as the assistant middle school girls' basketball coach, assistant varsity girls' basketball coach, and head JV girls' basketball coach. He has also coached varsity tennis at Darlington. Mark holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Shorter College and served the school as assistant director of admission and, later, as the director of alumni relations. He also has more than a decade of experience in sales. Mark enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid basketball fan. He and his wife Kim, director of fine arts at Darlington, are the parents of Jack ('15), Hillary ('18) and Sarah ('22).


Nan Wagshul

Nan has served as admissions associate since 2016. She attended Southern Seminary Junior College and pursued a degree in business administration at St. Leo University. She later received a paralegal certificate from Old Dominion University. Nan comes to Darlington from The Episcopal School of Texas, where she served as assistant registrar. She has previous administrative experience as a human resources assistant and a legal assistant. She and her husband, Jon Wagshul, chairman of Darlington's history department are parents to Grace ('19).


Donna Watford

Donna has worked in Darlington’s Admission Office since 2000. Previously, she spent 25 years in customer service as a select account manager and team leader for a Fortune 500 manufacturing company. She holds an associate’s degree in Secretarial Science from Floyd College and Coosa Valley Technical College, where she was recipient of the STAR Award. Donna and her husband, John, are the parents of two Darlington alumni, Sean (’01) and Jennifer (’08).
