I am almost certain that most of us have heard the phrase “It takes a village.” This may mean something different to everyone. When I hear this phrase, I often think of my children, Jordan (’12) and Katie (’15), and their time at Darlington.
Hope Jones, who currently serves as assistant head of lower school at Viewpoint School in Calabasas, Calif., will be Darlington School’s next director of ELA-8, effective July 1, 2014, announced Headmaster Tom Whitworth today.
Headmaster Tom Whitworth announced today that ELA-8 Director Dr. James Hutchins will leave Darlington at the end of the current school year to assume a new role as president/headmaster of The Donoho School, a PK-12 school in Anniston, Ala.
Now that I’ve had more time to analyze this year’s ERB scores, I can’t help but smile and applaud our success. Our students did an amazing job! They took these tests seriously, put forth a tremendous effort and reaped the benefits. I am so proud of their hard work.
