After a combined 65 years of service, Reba Barnes, Theresa Dulaney and Raymond Murray will retire from Darlington School at the end of the current school year.
This year, Darlington has had the opportunity to work with Atlanta PR and marketing firm Jackson Spalding to hone in on how we tell our story, and on Wednesday of last week, we shared this work with our faculty and staff.
Darlington School will host a blood drive on Thursday, Oct. 6, in honor of Joan Jones, mother of Nicholas Jones (‘17). The Blood Assurance Blood Vessel will be located at the steps of the McCallie-Kennedy Upper School Library from 2 to 7 p.m. for those who wish to donate.
The Darlington Community will come together on Friday, April 8, to honor and remember the lives of those affected by cancer at the 8th annual Light the Lake. Over the course of the evening, attendees will walk hundreds of laps in reflection around a luminary-lit Silver Lake.
Darlington's senior, junior, sophomore and freshman classes will take part in different organized service-oriented initiatives throughout the spring. This year marks the first that each class has a dedicated single-day event to help plan and execute for an organization not directly affiliated with the school.
