Students in AP environmental science traveled to the Rome Water Reclamation Facility to see firsthand how wastewater is treated and returned safely to the environment. During the visit, they explored each stage of the process, from initial filtration to biological treatment, gaining a deeper understanding of how human systems can reduce pollution and protect natural water sources.
