This past weekend, the U16 Soccer Academy traveled to Memphis, Tenn., to compete in the highly competitive Blues City Blowout, facing the No.1-ranked teams from Mississippi, Missouri, and Tennessee. While the tournament did not end in a championship finish, the boys battled with determination, resilience, and heart in every match.
More importantly, they represented the Darlington School with pride, class, and sportsmanship against some of the strongest competition in the region. Each game provided valuable experience that will fuel their continued growth.
The team is training hard and steadily improving as they prepare for their next major challenge — the Jefferson Cup in Richmond, Va., at the end of March.
The work continues. The standard remains high. The journey is just getting started.
