The seventh-grade students had an opportunity to travel back in time by visiting important historical places like Pamplin Park, Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Kitty Hawk to see the Wright Brothers National Memorial. They also got to walk through the Jockey's Ridge State Park. Finally, they got to dissect a shark at the Roanoke Aquarium.
This gallery features their visit to Roanoke Island to visit the aquarium and perform a shark dissection. From there, they walked all over Jockey’s Ridge before heading to Kitty Hawk to the see and climb on a life size replica of the Wright Brothers plane!
