It's a tradition that third-graders celebrate Valentine's Day by trading "appreciation hearts" with classmates. Students write what they appreciate about their peers on Valentine hearts and share the hearts while enjoying Valentine-themed treats. Everyone enjoys reading the special words written about them by their friends.
