Third grade continued our study of the human body when we had the privilege of hosting Ollie's dad, Dr. Frank Stegall Jr., a vascular surgeon with Harbin Clinic in Rome, to share his work on the veins and arteries of our bodies. Dr. Stegall shared his knowledge and work on how he helps his patients stay healthy and helps them when there are problems with their veins or arteries. He brought very cool models to show the kids how the blood flows and the work it does.
