As third grade continues their study of the human body, we had the honor of a visit from Nathan's mom, Dr. Karen Eberhart, to share her work and knowledge as a family medicine practitioner with Harbin Clinic in Cedartown. She especially focused on our eyes and ears and how she works to keep her patients healthy. She brought her tools of the trade to show the kids how our eyes react when exposed to light and how she is able to see in our ears. She showed us diagrams of the inner ear and the parts of the eye and how they work.
