In Mr. Eberhart’s sixth-grade math class, we learned how to figure out our own speeds on the football field. We all set up labs near the field to make sure our speed was steady. We measured our times based on how far we ran, and then we calculated our speeds in miles per hour to compare to other people and animals. It was a blast running around the field!
