The first grade has been studying bats and had the opportunity to visit the bat cave on campus today. With the help of Mr. Kinney and Ms. Haynes, we learned all about trees, plants, Joro spiders, and bats! When we went inside the bat cave, we had the luck of finding one bat that was hibernating. The students also got to see cave crickets, a cave salamander and a cave moth. It was a special day for everyone!
