Kindergarten students culminated their study of fire safety with a visit to Rome Fire Department Station #1. We learned many safety tips, such as "stay low and go" if there is a fire. We got to see where the fire fighters sleep, study and eat. The highlight of our trip was getting into the fire truck and watching the firefighters slide down the pole!
