Students in the Upper School advanced classes produced multiple prints using one of two methods: Silkscreen or Reduction Linoleum. Students chose to produce identical images (Edition Prints) and/or unique prints by varying colors or techniques (typically called Artist's Proofs). In this class, students used the Artist Proof approach as a way of experimenting, revising, and creating unique and pleasing combinations.
"An artist’s proof is a term used in printmaking to describe a limited number of prints that are made outside of the regular numbered edition of a print. Artist’s proofs are typically printed before the numbered edition and are used as a way for the artist to make final adjustments to the image or to experiment with different colour combinations."
