Darlington's robotics teams joined several science teachers from the Upper School on a visit to the robotic surgery facilities at Atrium Health. Surgeons, nurses, and technical staff generously demonstrated how robots can be used to improve abdominal and lung procedures right here in Rome. Every person in our group was given opportunities to do simulated surgery on two remarkable robot systems. We appreciate the generosity of our hosts and their patience as they answered so many of our questions!
