Darlington's robotics team visited two local healthcare providers to learn about state-of-the-art medical technology. At the Rome Orthopaedic Center, Dr. May and his team graciously demonstrated the process of robot-assisted knee replacement. Thanks to the generosity of Atrium Health's surgical staff and pulmonologist Dr. Pandya, everyone in our group also had a chance to conduct simulated abdominal and lung surgeries using two different robot systems.
