My Senior Ventures project focuses on how to assist young women dealing with high levels of appearance anxiety. Recently, I choregraphed and performed a dance tiltled "She Will." The dance reflects a Chinese female's confidence and beauty in three different time periods: Ancient China, Early 20th Century, and Modern Age. The parts of the dance are named "Root, Stem, and Flower" because females in China are becoming more independent and self-aware over time, and currently they are thriving like blossoming flowers. Senior Ventures is a year-long academic program built on a framework of leadership, innovation and community engagement.
