Alumni Dr. Beau Pollard ('10) and Annie Rosen ('02, LD '18) spoke to middle grades and Upper School students for National STEM Day. They spoke of their time at Darlington, their education after and the path that led them into STEM professions. Beau talked about earning his Ph.D., his time with NASA as an Aerospace Engineer and his time now as a postdoctoral fellow in the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. Annie discussed how she started out as an art history major, earned her MBA from Columbia and how her energy and passion ultimately led her into the technology business world. She is now the head of sales and GTM Strategy for MerchantSpring, an Australian-based eCommerce and data analytics company. We were thrilled to hear from these two amazing guest speakers!
