Five students from the 6 to 8 Jazz Band participated in the GMEA District 7 Honor Jazz Band. Students were selected based on skill level and interest. Rehearsal began on Monday evening with a three-hour session and continued the following day with two three-hour rehearsals, culminating in a concert in the Heritage High School Auditorium on Tuesday evening.
The following students participated:
Reese Bell ('26) on piano
Will Bowerman on trumpet
Thomas Hargett('27) on alto sax
Julian Lansdell ('27) on piano
Miles Twyman ('26) on drumset and percussion
All students represented the school incredibly well as leaders in their instrument sections.
