Fourth-grade students created spooky trees in art class just in time for the Halloween season. Students first used charcoal to create a smudgy background, and then painted their trees using India ink. Students carefully chose their composition and the placement of the branches. They then created highlights on their tree using white oil pastel and tried to mimic natural highlights from the moon.
