The first-graders wourked in small groups to reate a marble run out of paper cups, play-doh, tape and a cookie sheet. Most groups figured out how to cut cups in order to change the height of the mazes and allow for the marble to travel smoothly to the end. It was a great challenge for them to take on. They worked hard and continually changed their designs in order to improve the maze.
