Third grade set out on their annual Community Project Field Trip to visit and tour, when possible, the 10 different properties and buildings up for sale at this year's land auction!
The Community Project this year is a special continuation of our salute to heroes who have served our community during the COVID-19 pandemic. We chose 10 businesses and restaurants that have remained open during the pandemic to serve the residents of Rome and surrounding communities.
We extend our deepest gratitude and thanks to: GMC Valu-Mart, Truett's Chick-Fil-A, Shorter bp/Dunkin Donuts, Gondola Pizza, Winslette Pharmacy, Big Time Products, O'Charley's, Steak 'n Shake, Aventine and Honeymoon Bakery for allowing us to showcase their businesses for our annual Community Project.
After the land auction, students will make models of their businesses and share a presentation.
