On the last day of their field trip, students visited the birthplace of aviation in Kitty Hawk, N.C. After learning about the winds that helped propel the famous Wright brothers' flyer, the students felt the force of the wind while visiting the sand dunes at Jockey's Ridge State Park in Nags Head, N.C.
