Just in time for Christmas, third grade has been doing a novel study of the classic book, The Velveteen Rabbit. The students had fun sipping hot chocolate and sharing their favorite "real" toy with the class. From reading the book, students learned that a toy can only become "real" after it has been loved for a very long time!
