Mrs. Harrison and Captain Rodney's first grade had a blast celebrating the 50th day of school! We incorporated 50s themed activities into our daily routine. For writers workshop, we made root beer floats and then wrote a "How To" book about our steps. In math, we used records to show 5 ways to make 50. We also learned about how life was different in the fifties than it is today. We also went to Steak and Shake for lunch! We hope you enjoy our photos!
