The Coosa River Basin Initiative's WATERFEST XI, its paddlesports and environmental education extravaganza, was held May 6-7 at Ridge Ferry Park in Rome. The event featured a 13-mile Canoe & Kayak Race, Canoe & Kayak Tug-O-Wars in the Johnson Outdoors Tug-O-War pool and an Environmental Fair.
