Fourth graders recently completed projects about the Early European Explorers. Each student was assigned a different explorer to research and then chose a unique way to teach their class about their historical figure. Some innovative ideas included building the explorer’s ship, writing obituaries, making the explorer’s tombstone, writing a one-act play, completing a seven day diary, and creating a book cover.
