The fifth grade spent the first semester learning about the human body. Some of the systems that they studied were the skeletal/muscular, digestive, circulatory, respiratory and excretory systems. Kristie Hunt, Caroline’s mom, brought fetal pigs for the students to dissect. She told the students the reason that she chose the pig is because of the close resemblance to the human organs! Who would have thought?
