Darlington students from first grade to twelfth grade and from all around the world traveled to Alabama to head underground in Tumbling Rock Cave. Signatures in the cave date back to 1833 and saltpeter mining artifacts from the 1800s still survive. In addition, the cave is full of many amazing cave formations. Students were treated to a tour of the cave by cave manager Jay Clark.
