Let’s get to know Myles Twyman, a 12-year day student from Rome who is committed to play football at Princeton University in the fall.
When you think of Darlington, what three words come to mind first?
Supportive, Inclusivity, Fellowship
What's your favorite show to binge watch?
I love “Total Drama.” I have watched it over and over.
What's your favorite restaurant in Rome?
Moe’s Mexican
What house are you a member of?
Neville House
What are you involved in?
I am Head Day prefect in Neville, and I am on the “Y” Cabinet, Student Activities Committee, and Advancement Ambassadors. I am also part of the Band, Football Team, and Track Team.
If you play sports, who is your favorite coach and why?
My favorite Coach is Coach Loudermilk because he has dry humor and constantly has me cracking up.
If you are involved in fine arts, what is your favorite activity and why?
I love playing in the band.
What's your favorite place on campus and why?
My favorite place on campus is Mrs. Everhart's office because it is always warm and comfortable in there.
Who's your favorite teacher and why?
My favorite teachers are Mr. Bourg, Mrs. Shores, and Mrs. Massey. They all make me laugh for different reasons.
What’s your favorite thing about Darlington?
I love how everyone wants to see each other succeed rather than just their own success.
Describe an experience that you've had at Darlington that you couldn't have had anywhere else.
Getting to connect with students from almost anywhere in the world is something that I will always cherish and was my favorite part of my Darlington experience.
What are some of the ways you've grown since you first came to Darlington?
I have become more confident in my ability to execute a plan exactly the way I intended.
What is your dream job?
Managing a hedge fund or owning a sports team.
