Upper School Spanish teachers Carmen Gonzalez and Lisy Hammontree will be offering an exciting opportunity to travel to Seville, Spain, during Summer 2026. This two-week Spanish immersion program offers Darlington students the opportunity to strengthen their language skills while discovering one of Europe’s most culturally rich cities. Students will attend Spanish classes at Centro MundoLengua, earning intermediate or AP Prep credit. Outside of class, they will live with host families and take part in unforgettable excursions, including visits to the Real Alcázar, La Giralda, and the coastal cities of Cádiz and Monte Gordo. Students will enjoy cooking classes, flamenco performances, art workshops, and outdoor adventures while gaining global perspectives, building lifelong friendships, and creating memories that extend far beyond the classroom. Cost Details
The cost of the trip is $3,100 per person, not including airfare. Attendees have the option to enroll in an automatic monthly payment plan. The tour includes Spanish classes at Centro MundoLengua including a certificate of completion, guides and entrance for all activities and excursions, host-family homestays, private bus transfer to and from the airport, health insurance for the duration of the trip, and 24/7 support.
