The Purple Tie Volunteer Team is planning a Purple Tie Tiger Tailgate on Saturday, Aug. 12, at 6:30 p.m. in the Huffman Athletic Center.
"I look forward to kicking off another great school year at The Purple Tie Tiger Tailgate," said Head of School Brent Bell. "We will have all of our favorites, including the KAMP band, great food, silent online auction, live auction, reverse raffle, and Raise the Paddle to support special projects around campus."
All proceeds will benefit Darlington’s parent organizations: Pre-K to 8 and Upper School Tiger PRIDE, the Fine Arts Booster Club, and the Athletic Booster Club.

Admission to The Purple Tie Affair is $85 per person, which includes dinner and an open bar. Patron tables can be purchased for $2,000 (front row tables) or $1,250, which includes reserved seating for eight, 16 purple raffle box tickets, and special recognition. Like in years past, there is also an opportunity to "Treat a Teacher" for the event. Attendance will be capped at 450. Guests must be 21 or older to attend.
