What are you involved in at Darlington?
Fall play, winter musical, Wind Ensemble
If you are involved in the arts, what’s your favorite activity and why?
My favorite activity is going to rehearsal every day because it gives our company a chance to be together and make progress towards our show.
What's your favorite place on campus and why?
My favorite place on campus is the library because it gives a place to study but also be social with your friends.
Who's your favorite teacher and why?
My favorite teacher is Ms. Daniel because she always believed in me and encouraged me and also gave me the opportunity to be part of something larger than myself. Without Ms. Daniel and theater, I wouldn't be the person I am today.
What's your favorite thing about Darlington?
My favorite thing about Darlington is its strong community. Wherever you go, there's guaranteed to be someone that knows Darlington, which helps you to make lifelong connections.
Describe an experience that you've had at Darlington that you couldn't have had anywhere else.
It would be during one of my favorite musicals, either “Fiddler on the Roof” or “My Fair Lady.” I don't know of any other local schools where you can rehearse for months at a time and perform a professional production in Broadway costumes.
What are some of the ways you've grown since you first came to Darlington?
I have become much more mature and independent during my time at Darlington, and I feel ready for college because of the way courses and college guidance were designed.
Where do you want to go to college and what is your dream job?
I'm planning on attending college at Marshall in West Virginia, and my dream job would be a biologist.
